Applicant FAQ

Before you apply

Yes. The Pitch Arena welcomes ventures at every stage — from first sale to pre-launch idea. Selection is based on the story, the thinking and the potential, not just revenue. Idea-stage founders may be paired with a mentor before the event.

Selected speakers under 13 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the full day. We also run parent sessions on Day 1, so it's a great day out for the whole family — the Family Pass covers both.

Applying is completely free. Selected speakers receive a speaker pass for the event; travel and accommodation are covered by the participant. A limited number of travel scholarships are available for exceptional applications.

A panel of educators, founders and mentors reviews every application. Shortlisted applicants get a friendly 15-minute video call, then final confirmations go out by late November 2026. Every applicant hears back either way.

Absolutely. Teachers and school leaders can submit the form on a student's behalf — just include the student's name and age, and mention the school in the "venture" field. We'll follow up with the family for consent.

You'll get a WhatsApp confirmation within 48 hours. Shortlisted applicants receive a speaker pack with stage tips, session details and a rehearsal slot before the big day.
