Rules & Guidelines

Fair play, real work

Seven simple rules keep the challenge fun, honest and globally fair.

Team & Age LimitTeams of 1–5 founders, each aged 7–17 at the time of registration. International teams are welcome.

Adult MentorEvery team needs one adult mentor (parent, guardian or teacher) who acts as the point of contact.

Parental ConsentParent/guardian consent is mandatory for every participant before the challenge begins.

Original VenturesAll ventures must be original and built during the challenge. Existing businesses may enter with a fresh expansion project.

Submission TemplatesPhase submissions follow the provided templates and deadlines. Late submissions lose milestone points.

Honest Use of AIAI tools are encouraged as assistants, but the ideas, decisions and work must be the team's own.

Certification EligibilityCertificates are awarded to every team that completes all three phases within the deadlines.

Code of ConductRespectful, kind and honest behaviour — online and at the finale. The challenge is about building, not tearing down.
FAQ

Questions families ask

Any founder aged 7–17, from any country. Participants can enter solo or in teams of up to 5. Schools can register multiple teams with a teacher as the mentor.
No. Registration and all online phases are completely free. Travel to the in-person finale in Kochi is optional and self-funded, with a limited number of travel scholarships available.
A real venture — a product, service, digital brand or social enterprise. Mentors and workshops guide teams from problem discovery to first sale, with templates for every phase.
All bootcamps, workshops and the three challenge phases happen online so teams worldwide can join. Only the grand finale is in person — at Future Talks 2026 in Kochi — with streaming for international finalists.
Absolutely — no experience needed. The challenge is designed to take beginners from idea to first sale step by step, with mentor support at every stage.
English, with mentor support in Hindi and Malayalam. Submissions may include supporting materials in the team's own language.
